 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Village of Oxford Council will hold a public hearing in the Village Council Chambers, 22 W. Burdick, Oxford, MI 48371 on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 6:30 PM to hear public comments on the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Year 2019 application in the approximate amount of  $10,816.00 to fund eligible projects. All interested citizens are requested to attend the Hearing. Comments will also be received in writing or in person at 22 W. Burdick Street, P.O. Box 94, Oxford, MI. 48371 until 5:00 p.m. on November 27, 2018.

Arrangements to reasonable accommodate special needs, including handicap accessibility or interpreter, will be made upon receiving 72-hour notice. Contact Clerk/Treasurer Teresa Onica  at 248-628-2543 for special services.

Holiday Trash Pick Up Schedule
Garbage Collection is only delayed one day if the nationally recognized holiday falls during weekdays or in the event of an unforseen significant event.

  • Christmas
  • New Years Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day July 4th
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving

Yard Waste Pick Up 

As a part of living in the Village, residents are entitled to have yard waste removed on thier regularly scheduled waste pick-up day. This service runs from mid April to the end of November. Yard waste is defined as leaves, lawn cuttings, and shrub and tree trimmings and the like. Place into biodegradable bags or containers of 35 gallons or less. We enforce a weight limit of 50 pounds. Brush and limbs greater than 2 inches in diameter must be in bundles not longer than 4 feet in length, and not exceeding a total of 18 inches in diameter, or more than 50 pounds.For more information about yard waste removal, please visit

The last scheduled day for yard-waste removal in 2017 is Thursday, November 30th.
